Here are some pictures of the events and special
projects in our school year
Jackson Pollock's
Studio
A trip to
the Neuberger Museum in Purchase in early 2007 wasn't enough for our
Blue and Green room children. One glance at Jackson Pollock's work, and
they had to make their own splatter paintings, in imitation of the
master. But first, they needed a studio . . . and what better location
than the Block Room, where bricks for their studio walls were ready and
waiting.

Statue
of Liberty Project
The
poster of the Statue of Liberty sparked an interest in building. After
several conversations the children began to construct their own version
of Lady Liberty. Again, what better place than the Block Room to
recreate the base of the statue and the park around it.
