Our expansive playground with a brand new turf area for soccer, extra large legos, climbing structures, a soft track for riding bikes and scooters, swings, monkey bars, a sandbox house and so much more provides a wonderful extension to the CCNS classroom curriculum. Children use this time to engage in free play with all classes in their age group allowing them to interact with others not in their specific classroom. The emotional, social, mental and physical benefits of time spent on the playground are invaluable. Increased self-esteem, improved collaboration skills, and enhanced critical thinking skills are just some of the high-level benefits children gain by being able to play outside. Children also develop essential gross motor skills like coordination, balance, agility and dexterity.
